For those of you who haven't yet had the occasion to squish tightly into a small little mini-bus, known in most of East Africa as a matatu, and share sweat with strangers, there's one thing you need to know, other than the sweat: they often have words on teh back--sometimes little sayings on the back, sometimes just names. In Rwanda, they are things like "Thanks Jesus" or "Beyonce."
My roommate today announced this non-award award, the Best Thing I've Seen on the Back of a matutu, for a bus he saw in Kenya:
