In abstentia

Here's a quick note from Butare, where in one Internet Explorer window, this French keyboard does, in fact, write in French...and in a new one I just opened, this French keyboard lets me type in English. At first I found this wretchedly confusing, but then I realized it's probably the most useful computer-thing to happen in a bilingual country. What I can't figure out is how does it know when I want to speak French or English? Oh, things still to learn...

Back to business soon. Very soon, because I just realized half my readership graduated yesterday and probably will stop reading my blog now that they get to have real lives again. Which means I have mere days to make you all hooked...
